Founder And Managing Partner
Maranya is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He worked under the firm of Maitai Rimita & Co. Advocates, he has previously worked at the Commission for the Implementation of the Constitution –CIC (commonly known as the Nyachae Commission), he worked in Equity Bank Ltd, Head Office Nairobi, he worked as the Head of Legal Department in the County Assembly of Meru, a fully-fledged department that he founded before forming M.D Maranya & Co. Advocates.He has a passion for advocacy and has successfully defended and prosecuted delicate litigation matters and is a common figure in court rooms. His areas of practice include constitutional and human rights law, judicial review, land law & employment law, administrative law, general criminal law and defamation law.Maranya’s practice interests and specialties are in Dispute Resolution and Legal Advisory and Consultancy services. He has handled many complex disputes before Kenya’s superior courts and tribunals, especially in matters relating to public procurement law, Constitutional law, Administrative law and Electoral laws, Legislative Drafting, Constitutional and Judicial Review, Incorporation of companies, Commercial agreements and Contracts

Timothy is an experienced and diligent head legal clerk and is incharge of the firm’s dedicated support staff. At M.D Maranya Advocates, he undertakes various assignments at the various registries including land and court registries.

A skilled mediator, researcher, and legal drafter, he is committed to delivering effective legal solutions. A team player with a strong work ethic, he is entrusted with drafting pleadings, preparing legal documents, and conducting in-depth legal research. Kimathi is a graduate of Umma University, School of Law and Sharia.
Betty possesses fast and effective legal secretarial skills and has a strong administrative background with knowledge of the latest office management techniques. She updated our clients regularly on the status of their cases and follow up.She heads the secretarial department.
Clifford is a legal practitioner with the capabilities to deliver and produce good results in every task he is given. He completed his bachelor in law LL.B at Moi Universi ty. He finished his post Graduate Diploma at the Kenya School of law and currently awaiting admission.
Ezekiel is a legal practitioner with the capabilities to deliver and produce good results in every task he is given. He completed his bachelor in law LL.B at the Moi University. Kendi is an Accountant who holds a Diploma in Business administration, Bachelor of Commerce degree (accounting option), possess CPA part 2, has MS Excel skills Hands-o experience with accounting software preferably QuickBooks and ERP. She plays a crucial role in maintaining financial stability by managing daily bookkeeping, ensuring tax compliance, and providing strategic growth insights. She oversees financial records, prepare reports, and advise on fiscal strategies.

Halima is a highly experienced Legal Secretary and a tech-savvy in the firm’s administration department. Her immense experience and expertize assures our clients of receiving the best representation, counseling and assistance.
